You might have targeted cancer drugs for a neuroendocrine tumour (NET) that has spread to other parts of the body and can’t be removed by surgery.

What are targeted cancer drugs?

Targeted cancer drugs can change the way cells work and help the body to control the growth of NETs.

Sunitinib (Sutent)

Sunitinib is a targeted cancer drug. You might have it as a treatment for a number of different types of cancer. 

Everolimus (Afinitor)

Everolimus is a type of targeted drug called an mTOR blocker (inhibitor). It is a treatment for several cancers.
