External radiotherapy

External radiotherapy uses radiation to kill neuroendocrine tumour (NET) cells. You might have it for a NET that has spread to other parts of the body such as the bones and the brain.

External radiotherapy won’t get rid of the NET but it can control your symptoms and help you feel better.
