Screening for liver cancer

There is no national screening programme for primary liver cancer in the UK. You might have regular checks if you are at high risk of developing it.

Tests for liver cancer

You have a number of tests to check for liver cancer. The tests you might have include blood tests and scans such as an ultrasound scan of the liver.
