Getting diagnosed

You usually start by seeing your GP if you have symptoms. They will examine you and might refer you for tests or to see a specialist.

If you do have lymphoma you will have more tests to find out whether it has spread to other areas of your body. This is called staging.

Referral to a specialist

Your GP should refer you to a specialist if your symptoms could be due to Hodgkin lymphoma. 

Screening

Tests to diagnose

You might have a lymph node biopsy, CT scan or PET scan to find out if you have Hodgkin lymphoma.
